The Leviathan was a Spanish Man O' War which was shipwrecked in the Bahamas in the early 18th century.
In 1713, the cargo of gold Leviathan had drew the interest of both the British Navy, namely Captain Blount, as well as the crew of the Sea Dog's Bite, including Edward Kenway. The two forces both sought to claim Leviathan's treasure.[1]
