The Kufa Gate was one of the Gates of Baghdad, part of the original Round City which made up of the core of the city. Located in the southwest of the Residential District, it was so named for the road outside of Baghdad leads to the city of Kufa.[1]
A mosque and the Scholar's Estate can be found outside the gate.[2]
