The Krokodilopolis Arena was a gladiatorial arena located in Krokodilopolis, in the Faiyum Oasis. During the 1st century BCE, Felix Martialis served as the owner of the arena.
In 48 BCE, the Medjay Bayek traveled to the arena in search of Shadya's killer. There, he was reunited with his fellow Siwan and friend Kensa. Together, the two called themselves the Guardians of Siwa and challenged the arena, rising through the ranks and eventually confronting the Gallic brothers, Diovicos and Viridovix, whom Bayek believed responsible for Shadya's death.
Bayek eventually learned that it was the brothers' patron, Berenike–the Nomarch of Faiyum and a member of the Order of the Ancients known as "The Crocodile"–who was ultimately and directly responsible for Shadya's death.
Following Bayek and Kensa's victory, the two were named champions.
