Kition was a Greek scholar who lived in Egypt during the reign of Ptolemy XIII.

In the 1st century BCE, Kition worked alongside fellow scholars, Heraclides and Merkes, in an attempt to solve the pyramid mystery of pharaoh Sneferu, using Manetho, a 3rd century BCE scholar's notes in their research. Eventually, after years of not yielding any results, Kition and Heraclides left the research, leading Merkes to solve the mystery on his own.
