Kilchrist

Kilchrist was a Christian church in Dublin, Ireland.

History

In the late 9th century, jarlskona Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan was introduced by her cousin and King of Dublin, Bárid mac Ímair to the church during her tour around the city. He explained that the building was a house that welcomed him as did any house of their own gods.[1] During her stay in Dublin, she climbed atop the church and leaped off after surveying the city.[2]
