Katano Oil Trading was a bandit-infested oil storage warehouse located south of Katano Castle in Izumi Settsu, Japan.

In 1582, the Kakushiba ikki member and shinobi Fujibayashi Naoe arrived at the deposit, searching for Chief Cuckoo, one of the kabukimono rōnin terrorizing the region, whom she had learned about from the Shinto priest Shin'nyo. Finding Chief Cuckoo among his men, Naoe assassinated him and acquired a naginata, the Prancing Naginata, from his personal effects.[1]
