Katano Castle was a Japanese castle in the city of Katano, within the region of Izumi Settsu.
In Late September 1581, the Iga kunoichi Fujibayashi Naoe infiltrated the castle in order to recover a box that had been stolen from her by a masked samurai in the Mihata Kofun. Inside the castle, she located the samurai Ido Yoshihiro, killing him and recovering the box before fleeing from the castle.[1]
