Kaniehti:io (1731 - 1760) was a Mohawk tribeswoman and the mother of Ratonhnhaké:ton. She was also an ancestor to both William and Desmond Miles.
Biography
Prior to the Seven Years' War, Kaniehti:io was captured and specially escorted to the slaver Silas Thatcher, along with other members of her tribe. However, her convoy was hijacked by Haytham Kenway and his men, which led to her and her fellow Natives' freedom.
Later, Haytham decided that Kaniehti:io would be a vital ally in helping his Order find the precursor site that they were looking for, as the First Civilization were considered to be sacred gods by Kaniehti:io's people.
