Alvise da Vilandino (1441 - 1500) was a baggage handler who resided in Venice.

He was born in Venice in 1441 and in 1481 he welcomed the polymath Leonardo da Vinci and his close friend, Ezio Auditore, to Venice. He gave the pair a short tour of the San Polo District and welcomed Leonardo to his new workshop in the city before being rudely left without a tip for his service. 

Trivia

  • In Assassin's Creed: Renaissance, Alvise is referred to as Nero.
    • Nero was described as obese, pale man with large eyes, in the service of Conte da Pexaro.
  • Alvise's database image has different hair than the in-game model.
