Intelligentsia was a virtual representation of one of Ezio Auditore da Firenze's genetic memories, relived by Desmond Miles in 2012 through the Animus.
Description
Even though Ezio Auditore reached the first scholar before the Borgia, the scholar was shot dead, so he continued to find the remaining scholars.

Outcome
The scholar got to safety before the Borgia guards found him.
