The Hyperion is a trireme captained by The Hydra, the Sage of the Gods of the Aegean Sea branch of the Cult of Kosmos.
During the Peloponnesian War the Hyperion sailed on the waters south of Peloponnese, and crossed paths with the Adrestia, a ship commandeered by the Spartan misthios Kassandra and captained by Barnabas. In the following conflict The Hydra was slain.[1]
Trivia
- The name of the ship references a Titan in Greek mythology, Hyperion. He was the brother/consort of Theia.
- The name is derived from the Greek word ῠ̔πέρ (hupér), which means 'above, over', with the addition of the suffix -ῑ́ων (-ī́ōn), giving the name the translation 'high one'.
