Hendrick van der Heul was the quartermaster of William Kidd and later the captain of the Octavius.
Hendrick received a letter from William Kidd in which William confided in Hendrick that he was holed up in Boston and that a particular group was intent on obtaining his Shard of Eden.
Hendrick died when the Octavius stranded while looking for the Northwest Passage.
