The Heavy Staff was a staff made and used in the 5th century BCE Greece. With a heavy metal head, the staff was cumbersome to handle, but when handled properly, it was as deadly as any of its peers.
During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra found this weapon in the inventories of blacksmiths and looted it from bodies and chests during her travels throughout Greece.[1]
