Ezio, my friend! How may I be of service?

This article is in desperate need of a revamp. Please improve it in any way necessary in order for it to achieve a higher standard of quality in accordance with our Manual of Style.

The Head of Saint Denis was an ancient relic, a head-shaped lantern which was fueled by an Apple of Eden. In Middle Age, Suger of Saint-Denis used the power of the lantern to create a powerful weapon called the Eagle of Suger.

In August 1794, the Assassin Arno Dorian battled a group of tomb raider sent by Napoleon Bonaparte in order to find the artefact in the Precursor Temple hidden below the christian basilica. The Assassin killed the raiders' leader, Philippe Rose, and used the power of the lantern to repel his men from the Temple. Dorian then contacted the Brotherhood, asking them to bring the Apple in Cairo, to a man named Al Mualim, but kept the now average lantern as his own personnal item.
