Gillian McCarthy was a seductress, who relied on her talents to protect herself and sruvive, as she sided with the Templar Order. Successful in this endeavor, Gillian was able to gain the favors of the most influential politicians and learn the best guarded plans and secrets of the states.
In 2012, her genetic memories were used as an Animi Avatar by the entertainment branch of the Templar company Abstergo Industries, to influence the general public via the Animus games console, under the title of the Lady Maverick.
