George V (George Frederick Ernest Albert; 1865 – 1936) was the King of the United Kingdom and Emperor of India from 1910 until his death. He was the second son of Edward VII and Alexandra of Denmark.[1]

On 13 June 1865, shortly after his birth, his father received a royal correspondence from his maternal grandmother Queen Victoria, who expressed general disappointment with his father's proposed names for George, though she preferred the suggested "Frederic" over "George".
