The Eurybia was a trireme captained by a man known as the Mytilenian Shark, a member of the Gods of the Aegean Sea branch of the Cult of Kosmos.
Before captaining the Eurybia, the Mytilenian Shark was the captain of a ship called the Shark's Head. However, the Shark's Head was sunk.[1]
During the Peloponnesian War the Eurybia encountered the ship Adrestia, commanded by the Spartan misthios Kassandra and captained by Barnabas. The Eurybia was sunk, and Kassandra killed the Mytilenian Shark.[1]
Trivia
- In Greek mythology Eurybia is the daughter of Gaia and Pontus, and as such, Eurybia was considered the goddess of mastery of the seas and power over them.
