Emily Burke, otherwise known as Calamity Mily, was a pioneer during the American Revolutionary War. As the only girl in a family of ten, she developed a tomboy-like attitude, and learned the meaning of hard work and sacrifice at a very young age.
Emily had a difficult time adjusting to the decency of her gender whilst she grew up, though when the lives of her father and brothers were taken by the Templar Order, she abandoned her claim and searched for answers, killing the Templars she deemed responsible for the loss of her family. While she never joined the Assassins, she proved to be their most trusted ally in the 18th century.[1]
In 2012, her genetic memories were used as an Animi Avatar by players of Abstergo Entertainment's Animus, under the title of the Pioneer. [2]
