Easter Island is an island in the Pacific Ocean, at the southeasternmost tip of the Polynesian Triangle. The island is famous for its 887 Moai statues, created by the Rapa Nui people. It is part of the territory of Chile and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.[1] The island was also the location of a Piece of Eden.[2]
Due to the protection of the island, Abstergo Industries has been unable to conduct extensive research into the site. Nonetheless, Abstergo research hope to conduct a private archaelogical excavation of the island in hope of finding traces of the Isu.[1]
