Durga was a member of the First Civilization, later revered in Hindu religion as an incarnation of Devi.
A statue of Durga was located amongst First Civilization ruins deep in the caverns beneath the summer palace of Ranjit Singh. The statue was decorated with various Pieces of Eden, such as an Apple and a Staff of Eden and its centerpiece, the Koh-i-Noor.
While Pyara Kaur was trying to escape with the Koh-i-Noor, a member of the First Civilization – thought to be Durga – possessed her and spoke words through her to communicate with a man from the present time known as Jot Soora.
