Duan Ziguang (段子光; died 756) was a member of the Yeluohe
Biography
In January 18, 756, after An Lushan captured Luoyang, he ordered the execution of Li Cheng, Lu Yi, and Jiang Qing, the highest-ranking officials in Luoyang, and spread word of their execution to all the counties in Hebei Province, forcing them to obey. As the messenger of An, Duan Ziguang brought the heads of three officials to Pingyuan County to force the jiedushi Yan Zhenqing to submit to his rule. He informed Zhenqing about the deaths of his nephew Yan Jiming in Changshan, and brother Yan Gaoqing, who was sentenced to death by lingchi.[1]
However, Yan Zhenqing refused to submit to the Yeluohe's regime, and had earlier formed an alliance with Hidden One Li E and his group which included Jiming's fiance He Hong'er and several Changshan survivors. Ziguang was promptly killed by Hong'er who slew him in his neck with her sword, while his soldiers were promptly cut down by the Changshan soldiers.[1]
