Delaware is a state in the north-eastern region of the United States. Delaware is bordered to the South and West by Maryland, New Jersey to the northeast, and Pennsylvania to the North.
The colony of Delaware was one of the thirteen colonies that claimed independence from Great Britain during the American Revolution.
