Aias the Clean (died c. 422 BCE) was a mercenary hired by the Order of the Storm, who operated in Achaia during the Peloponnesian War.
Biography
While many other mercenaries didn't care about how they looked or smelled, Aias believed he could prove that mercenaries deserved as much respect or adoration as a polemarch. Always presentable, Aias did manage to gain fans, that is until they saw him do his job up close.[1]
Around 422 BCE, he was employed by the Order of the Storm and was eliminated by the Spartan misthios Kassandra.[1]
