Led by Surtr, and bostered by jötnar allies, the Muspels have conquered Svartalfheim. For unknown reasons, Surtr has kidnapped Havi's son, Baldr, suggesting that the conquest of Svartalfheim is part of a grander, more sinister plan. And so, Havi has arrived in Svartalfheim to rescue his beloved son.

Svartalfheim was home to the dwarves of Norse myth. That is, until the combined might of Muspelheim and Jotunheim invaded and swiftly set about doing what any conquerors worth their salt do: decimating the realm's population, forcefully seizing its vast natural resources, and subjugating any survivors unable to find sanctuary.
