Following his journey to the Aztec city of Tenochtitlan, Giovanni Borgia used his abilities to locate a Piece of Eden known as a Crystal Skull. During a violent uproar, he killed the Skull's possessor, a priest, and stole the artifact from the Aztec.
In the weeks that followed, Giovanni escaped the city and headed back to Europe.
