Agamemnon's Helmet

The Agamemnon's Helmet was a helmet part of a set of armor which allegedly belonged to the legendary king of Mycenae, Agamemnon.

During the 5th century BCE, the armor pieces were in the possession of the Cult of Kosmos, who split the pieces amongst the members of the Silver Vein. During the Peloponnesian War, the helmet was in the possession of Machaon who had made a shipyard in Patrai his base. The Spartan misthios Kassandra eliminated Machaon and claimed the helmet for herself.[1]
