However, growing up as the youngest of five children, Clipper felt less valued than his elder brothers and tired with competing with them. As a result, he became estranged with his family and chose to move to [[New York]]. During his journey, Wilkinson hoped to find contracts in New York for a living and take part in the Colonist expeditions to the west of Ohio.


Having heard the rumors about Connor's battle against the British oppression, Wilkinson requested his help in finding the man responsible for organizing the forceful recruitment of young men to the British Army in southern Boston.

Wilkinson's family had sided with British Loyalists, however Wilkinson noticed that many young men and boys were being forced into military service by the British and executed those who refused to take part. Connor's efforts allowed Wilkinson to discover the man's identity, and he told Connor to join him at a meeting where the man would come out in public to address the unwilling recruits. The two then worked together in assassinating the man, and following the aftermath, Connor concluded that the man was a member of the [[Templars]], upon which Wilkinson agreed to join the Assassins' cause against the organization.

Connor liberated the South Boston district by assassinating the conscription agents. Connor soon after met up with Wilkinson who had discovered a British officer who was responsible for the conscription and was assembling a group of men to be recruited into the British Army.  
 
Connor decided to take action and assassinated the officer with the help of Wilkinson and his marksmanship skills. After freeing the recruits, Connor revealed the truth of the [[Templars|Templar Order]] and explained the [[Assassins]] cause liberate all of mankind. Wilkinson joined Assassin Brotherhood to fight for freedom.

Clipper Wilkinson was a member of the Assassin Order who lived in southern Boston during the American Revolutionary War. He was also a noted sharpshooter, who had specialized in using a musket.

On recruiting Wilkinson, it allowed Connor to use his Assassin recruits to pick off a target from a distance at any given time.
