Caterina Sforza was the Countess of [[Forlì]] and Imola and the daughter of the Duke of Milan. She married the Pope's nephew at only 14. He later became the Count of Forlì and Imola, and she took his place after his assassination by the Orsi family in 1488.

In actual life, she died on 28 May 1509 of Pneumonia after being exiled to Florence.
