Carnagan

Carnagan was a druidic ritual site in southern Connacht, Ireland. The site also appeared to be a standing stones location that dated back to the era of the Tuatha Dé Danann.

History

In 879, the Viking jarlskona Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan followed a clue alongside her ally, Ciara ingen Medba about "The Cursed." Ciara detailed that The Cursed may have a ritual in the area and be guarded by her púca. At Carnagan, Ciara and Eivor probed the location for any clues or tracks. Eivor soon found tracks of an animal and then saw the púca in front of her. From there, Ciara and Eivor followed the púca's trail to find The Cursed and left Carnagan.[1] Through her journey in Ireland, Eivor also discovered the unique markings and a note detailing not to disturb the circles of ancient stone of the Tuatha Dé Danann.[2]
