Cappadocia was a city in central Turkey not only controleed, but constructed by, the Knights Templar.

During the 16th century, the Templars, after being driven from Rome, set up their headquarters in the underground city in Cappadocia. Ezio Auditore scaled all of the floors of the city at least once.
