Benjamin Pritchard (unknown – January 1713) was a member of the Templar Order and the captain of the Amazon Galley for the East India Company.
In 1713, his ship was attacked by the Emperor, a privateer-turned-pirate ship under the command of Alexander Dolzell.
After being tortured by Dolzell, Pritchard was put under the guard of Blaney and Edward Kenway, to which the latter spotted Pritchard's Templar ring on his burned hands. With Kenway recognizing the symbol from an attack on his family in Bristol, Pritchard promised to reveal the its true meaning and help him find the men who had set fire to his parents' house if Kenway helped him to escape. However, before Kenway could act on this, the Templar was impaled on Dolzell's sword when the privateer Edward Thatch came to the rescue of the Amazon Galley.
