The Desheret Patrol Bow was a hunter bow favored by Egyptian authorities who patrolled the deserts during the Ptolemaic dynasty. Accordingly, the bow was designed to be simple but sturdy, and the white limbs with bandaged grip helped to camouflage it in the desert while its wielders pursued criminals, bandits, and foreign invaders.
