"This must be some sort of plot to expose the fort. I'm a patriot through and through, Connor."
―Benedict Arnold explaining his allegiance to Ratonhnhaké:ton.[src]

Benedict Arnold (1741-1801) was the major general at West Point.

In 1780, Ratonhnhaké:ton was given orders by George Washington to expose a rumored plot to overthrow West Point. He worked undercover for Arnold, while flushing out Loyalist spies.[1]
