The Confiscation Warehouse was a warehouse in the Karkh district of Baghdad, located north of the Tabik Gate. It was used by the Abbasid military to store confiscated goods from merchants imported from the docks in Sharqiyah.
History[edit | edit source]
In the 860s, the Hidden One Basim ibn Ishaq travelled to the warehouse to help his friend Kong recover his stolen tea shipment. Basim navigated through the warehouse and found notes which pointed to the Order of the Ancients' involvement in the confiscation of foreign goods.[1]
