Accipiter was an Alaman general, and a cousin of the Assassin Aquilus.

He arranged a meeting with Aquilus to give him the artefact, but soon found himself at war with a small army of Romans. After the Alamans had won the war, Accipiter found Aquilus unconscious inside the Roman general's tent. He took Aquilus with him to his home to tend to his wounds.
