The problem with anything first person is that your character just observes the world. In the post Desmond era we've had a character exposed to the myriad of allegiances (Assassins/Templars/Instruments/Erudito/Naive Abstergo) and the character has not had the chance to respond. This would be fine if we had choice but choice does not suit the world of a well written story because you want the chracter's involvement to be fixed so you can sequel it. So - if the character's role is fixed, why not give them a voice? Why not make it third person? It seems to me that the only reaosn not to is to save time and animation? | The problem with anything first person is that your character just observes the world.
