During the Seven Years War, Haytham was sent to the American Colonies to aid the British against France, as well as to search for First Civilization sites in the colonies. Haytham gathered a group of recruits to establish a rite of Templars in the colonies, and soon found himself allied with a woman named Kaniehtí:io. After finding the Grand Temple, Haytham fell in love with Kaniehtí:io, and the two conceded a son. Haytham eventually inducted two pivotal men into the Order: Charles Lee and Shay Cormac, with Lee soon rising to the Order's second-in-command and Shay aiding Haytham's search for more Precursor sites. Throughout the American Revolution, the Templars stirred chaos and rebellion in the colonies, all while Haytham and his allies were being hunted by the Assassin Connor, who was none other than Haytham's own son.<br>
