:This is not a bad question, DeathNyx. Currently, we are in the process of revising our country articles to ensure that they deal with civilizations as a whole rather in the way of Wikipedia where they are simultaneously centered around both the current state and the civilization without distinction. So to answer your question, this article is about the Germany civilization throughout history, not immediately the modern Federal Republic of Germany. Both East Francia and the Holy Roman Empire are conventionally regarded as the predecessor states of the Federal Republic of Germany, just as West Francia is a predecessor state of the French Fifth Republic. Of course, the boundaries of this civilization is not necessarily fixed since the French are descendants of Celts and the Germanic Franks while France and Germany originated as one state, the Carolingian Empire also known simply as Francia, but we can also generalize these boundaries by using modern states as a reference to an extent.  [[User:Sol Pacificus|<span style="color:#990000;font-family:Monotype Corsiva;font-size:17px">'''Sol Pacificus'''</span>]][[User talk:Sol Pacificus|<span style="color:#D4AF37;font-family:Californian FB;font-size:11px">(Cyfiero)</span>]] 16:13, October 22, 2018 (UTC)

East Francia & HRE as foundations?[edit source]

This page is for the present day country right? Are we sure that East Francia or the Holy Roman Empire are the same as present day Germany? They shouldn't count as foundation datas. Best regards. DeathNyx (ask) 11:36, October 22, 2018 (UTC)

This is not a bad question, DeathNyx.
