When you buy them, the books have -/+ percentage with either an assassin or templar symbol. What does this value do exactly? My assumption has been that it decreases awareness, but I'm having difficulty finding a straight answer.

Every non-consumable purchase (be it shops, weapons, etc.) increases awareness, in what I assume was an attempt to stop people from purchasing too much (I don't really understand why).

:No, it's Tax for Templars, and Discount for Assassins. Basically, you pay more with the Templar tax put on an item in Templar-controlled area, and you get a discount once you liberate it and renovate shops. --[[User:Kainzorus Prime|<font color="#7575DB" face="OCR A" size="3">Kainzorus Prime</font>]] [[User talk:Kainzorus Prime|<font color="#4C99A6">Walkie-talkie</font>]] 00:40, May 3, 2013 (UTC)

Assassin/Templar percents[edit source]

When you buy them, the books have -/+ percentage with either an assassin or templar symbol. What does this value do exactly? My assumption has been that it decreases awareness, but I'm having difficulty finding a straight answer.

Every non-consumable purchase (be it shops, weapons, etc.) increases awareness, in what I assume was an attempt to stop people from purchasing too much (I don't really understand why).
