In 48 BCE, the Medjay Bayek travelled to the tomb to hunt down a bandit leader whose men had been harassing Rai, in order to retrieve her father's bow, made from a type of stone found within the Isu vault. After killing the bandit leader, Bayek deciphered an Old Kingdom stele behind Smenkhkare's tomb.[1]
