Thora was a Norse Viking and sister to berserkr Kiarr Rawbone. She was also the wife of Alrek and by extension, the sister-in-law of Kjotve the Cruel.
Biography[edit | edit source]
One year during the 9th century, Thora married Alrek, brother of Kjotve the Cruel, who abused her. Kiarr heard the rumors about it and confronted Thora, who confirmed them. Kiarr then invited Alrek to a hunting trip and, once there, Kiarr killed and dismembered him. Afterwards, Kiarr presented Kjotve with Alrek's severed arm and fled the region, presumably with Thora in tow.[1]
