Stone Axe

The Stone Axe was a heavy battleaxe made of stone used in ancient Greece during the 5th century BCE.

During the Peloponnesian War, the weapon was preferred by the Spartan brute soldiers, and eventually one of them made its way to the hands of the Spartan misthios Kassandra.[1]
