History[edit | edit source]
In 1868, the British Assassin Jacob Frye discovered a plot to assassinate Prime Minister Disraeli and decided to infiltrate the Sinopean Club to figure out the identity of "B", the mastermind behind it. At the club, Jacob eavesdropped on an argument between Disraeli and Gladstone about the Corrupt Practices Act, before noticing a spy tailing Disraeli as he left the club.[1]
Later on, Jacob's sister Evie and Maharaja Duleep Singh intercepted Gladstone as he left his home for the Sinopean Club, posing as an official carriage. While Evie drove, Duleep attempted and ultimately failed to sway Gladstone to his cause.[2]
