Single Action Army

The Single Action Army is an American military-grade revolver famous for its association with the Wild West.

In 1868, this firearm was bought by the British Assassins Evie and Jacob Frye for £3,200 during their stay in London.[1]

Description
A military-grade revolver credited with taming the West.

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]

In real-life, the Colt Single Action Army was not first manufactured until 1873, making its inclusion in Assassin's Creed: Syndicate, a game set in 1868, anachronistic. In addition, the game's description of the Single Action Army as the revolver "credited with taming the West" is an allusion to the gun's real-life appellation as "The Gun that Won the West".
