The Sickle Blade

The Sickle Blade was a sword in the 5th century BCE Greece. With a blade shaped like a sickle, the sword had a unique profile, which made it no less dangerous.

The sword's exotic, threatening looks made it a favorite among the Followers of Ares during the Peloponnesian War,[1] their priests wielding the blade with deadly consequences even during the Plague of Athens.[2]

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]

The Sickle Blade, a weapon in Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, shares the same model as a number of other similar weapons in the same game, including The Head Hook and Slave's Sword. These are all the recycled model of the Sword of Ptah, a weapon in Assassin's Creed: Origins.
