The Sibyl rock was a rock located within the Sanctuary of Delphi in Phokis, Greece.
History[edit | edit source]
Regarded as the rock where the prophetess nicknamed Sibyl sang her oracles, the rock was believed by the Delphians to be the source of her visions.[1]
During the Peloponnesian War, the rock was visited by the Spartan misthios Kassandra.[2]
