Rouecistre Blockade

Rouecistre Blockade was a naval blockade that was adjacent and behind Rouecistre Fortress in Cent, England.

History[edit | edit source]

Circa 874, the Viking Eivor Varinsdottir traveled to the blockade to break the naval chain for her allies, Geadric and Runa Egilsdottir, to dock their ships. Within the blockade's premises, she noticed that the door for the chain was locked and needed to find the key. Looking around, Eivor caught of a Saxon soldier holding the key. Obtaining the key from the soldier, Eivor went and opened the door. Within the structure, Eivor broke two links and let the naval chain down. Afterwards, she left to meet with her allies and to discuss the impending assault on Rouecistre Fortress.[1]

Throughout her travels, Eivor found and retrieved a nickel ingot from a chest within the structure holding the naval chain.[2]
