Remus (771 BCE – 717 BCE) was the twin brother of Romulus, the legendary founder and first king of Rome. According to Roman mythology, Remus and Romulus were raised by a she-wolf in a cave known as Lupercal located at the Palatine Hill.[1][2][3]
