Platinum is a type of rare metal of silver-white coloring found naturally on Earth. It was first discovered in 1748[1] by Spanish scientist Antonio de Ulloa along with a fellow researcher.[2]
In Eivor Varinsdottir's visions of Svartálfaheimr, Odin collected platinum ingots in order to upgrade his gear.[3]
