Piye (died 714 BCE) was an ancient Kushite king and the founder of the twenty-fifth Dynasty in Egypt.
He oversaw constructions at Jebel Barkal and for every victorious campaign, rewarded each of his Nubian generals with a predator bow named for the mountain.[1] He was succeeded by his son Shabataka.[2]
